Cyril Mychalejko
He's Assistant Director at teleSUR English and is currently based in Quito, Ecuador.

Prior to joining teleSUR, he was an editor for 10 years at Upside Down World, an award-winning online magazine covering politics and activism in Latin America. Cyril received two Project Censored awards for coverage of Ecuador’s “Rights to Nature” clauses in its constitution and for uncovering the Bush Administration’s withholding of lifesaving aid from Haiti. Cyril has written about free trade, international development, mining conflicts, and U.S. foreign policy in Latin America, among other topics. His writing and analysis has appeared in publications such as the BBC, The New York Times Online, The Miami Herald, New Politics, Truth-Out, and Common Dreams.
